Coming from Kassel (North)
Please exit the Motorway at “Marburg-Bahnhofstraße”. At the first traffic light turn right into the “Bahnhofstraße” and follow the road into the direction to the city center. After the next traffic light use the left traffic lane turning left at the end of the “Bahnhofstraße” into the “Elisabethstraße”. At the next traffic light stay straight on into the oneway “Pilgrimstein”. At the end there is a traffic light for pedestrians at “Rudolphsplatz”. Turn right, the “Alte Universität” is on the right hand side. For parking stay on the street and follow the signs for parking.

Please exit the Autobahn at „Marburg Mitte“ (Esso gas station) and follow the road in all its right turns until the next traffic light at the intersection. Turn right into the direction of the city center. Stay straight on this lane for three traffic lights until the street takes a right curve and cross the bridge. At the intersection immediately at the end of the bridge, you will see the „Alte Universität“ directly in front of you. For parking you may turn either left or right and follow the signs for parking.

From Marburg main station
either use a taxi at the entrance to bring you to „Lahntor 3“, or take a city
bus (lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7) to the stop „Rudolphsplatz“. From there it is a 2
minute walk to the Alte Universität on the right hand side across from a big
clock at the intersection.
